As the **Account Manager - TELCO SMB**you will be responsible for identifying and driving new business opportunities, building long-term partnerships and providing clients with innovative solutions that are tailored specifically to their business needs. Acting as the conduit between commercial customers and JB Hi-Fi group, the Account Manager will lead with JB Hi-Fi's purpose to help, effectively becoming the customer advocate to ensure optimal outcomes. The approach to market is based on retention, growth, and acquisition strategies with a focus on building net new customers and long lasting relationships with customers.
**Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Building and executing a sales strategy to acquire new business, incorporate innovative approaches to showcase the value proposition of JB Hi-Fi Business
- Developing and implementing lead generation strategies for new customers, dormant customers and build relationships with partners and suppliers to capture referrals
- Developing and maintaining trusted relationships up and down the value chain (customers, suppliers, partners), become the first point of contact ensuring a positive experience for the customer and partner/supplier
- Managing the sales cycle from start to finish from initial engagement, to discovery, to solution
- Actively seek out and meet with customers weekly and manage quarterly business reviews with larger spend customers. Get out in front of customers is key to success
- Ensuring Salesforce is up to date and accurate, maintain accurate forecasting (weekly/monthly) and reporting where applicable
**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong Telecommunication knowledge, products and systems (Telstra preferred)
- Proficient in prospecting, lead generation, and relationship building
- Proven track record in maintaining and exceeding sales targets, acquiring net new business, exceeding sales budgets, maintaining sales forecasts, and Salesforce compliance
- An ability to analyse industry data, internal sales data, and customer data to prepare engagement strategies and presentations.
- Experienced and confident with communicating at all levels including senior management and c-level executives.
- Experience working within a fast-paced sales environment and growing sales revenue and profitability across customer patch and individual customers
- Technology experience across IT hardware, software and services a plus (not mandatory)
- Salesforce experience beneficial
- Current drivers license
