Biloela Hospital is a 20-bed hospital that caters for Inpatients and Outpatients, including Emergency Department Services. Support services to the hospital include Community Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Immunisation, Child Health, Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Pathology, Physiotherapy, and Oral Health.
About the role:
A Clinical Nurse (CN) is a Registered Nurse who is accountable at an advanced level for the coordination of clinical practice delivered in a clinical specialty. This position provides leadership and support to nursing and medical staff and supports the delivery of competent, best practice quality care, while working in collaboration with the line manager of the unit.
The CN is a rural generalist Nurse who provides an early leadership role within the career pathway for nursing within Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service and is responsible for a specific patient population and can function in more complex situations while providing support and direction to the Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse and other non-registered nursing personnel. The CN Rural Generalist follows defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe, practice and services and workplaces.
About you:
* Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.
* A relevant postgraduate certificate or post graduate diploma would be well regarded.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $135,857 p.a. is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $ $60.50 p.h.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
