Locum Sonographer – Maternity Leave in Launceston, TAS. 3–6 months starting April 2025. Travel and accommodation support provided; no car.

Salary – locum rates on offer + accommodation and travel support (no car for this locum)
Responsibilities
* Maternity leave cover from April for 3–6 months
* Perform ultrasound scans using Siemens Sequoia and GE Logic machines; reporting via SonoReview
* General ultrasound across multiple specialties with MSK and nuchal certification being advantageous
* Manage own list and work alongside one other sonographer; radiologist on-site three days a week
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in ultrasound across general specialties; MSK and nuchal certification advantageous
* Proficiency with Siemens Sequoia and GE Logic machines; familiarity with SonoReview
* Familiarity with Inteleviewer PACS and ability to manage patient lists
* ASAR registration; strong understanding of ultrasound protocols and best practices
* Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team
* Willingness to commit to maternity leave coverage for 3–6 months
