HOBAN Recruitment are sourcing experienced Practice Management Finance officers to join our client, who is a Federal Government Agency.
- Located in Braddon / Canberra
- 12-month full-time hours assignment, with the possibility of an extension, pending business requirements.
- Pay rate is $53.63 per hour including casual loading + 10.5% Superannuation paid quarterly
**About the role**
The APS5 Level Practice Management (Finance) will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that supports and contributes to the Govt. Agency's objectives.
It is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility.
The APS5 Practice Management (Finance) will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex enquiries.
**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:
- Reviewing and processing invoices to ensure they are charged in line with appropriate contracts and ensuring compliance with Agency policies and procedures.
- Assisting with monthly expenditure reports, accruals and budgets as required.
- Managing legal disbursements including witness reports, barrister fees and working with other legal and non-legal vendors as required.
- Providing a key contact for external firms and clients for accounts related queries.
- Undertaking procedural and administrative support including mailbox management, allocating work, record keeping and data management as required.
- Assisting in preparing reports and analysing data for the branch (financial and non-financial).
- Assisting in preparing procurement documents to support the creation of work orders and contract variations.

- Exposure in finance
- Invoicing experience
- Strong skills in MS Office
- Ability to understand policies, procedures, and legislation
- Must be an **Australian Citizen**:
- Able to pass National Police Check and Worker Screening Check
