Maintenance Leadership Role
Job Overview
* Lead and manage a team of maintenance professionals by setting clear goals, monitoring performance, and mentoring others to drive excellence in maintenance delivery.
* Develop and execute maintenance strategies to achieve optimal service times, schedule compliance rates, and quality standards.
* Ensure that maintenance work is completed within allocated resources, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
* Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and Superintendents to implement safety protocols, incident investigation procedures, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
* Play an active role in driving health, safety, environment, and community (HSEC) initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Minimum 5 years of experience in open cut coal mining with a focus on mechanical trade or tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering.
* Proven track record in mobile maintenance with extensive post-trade experience in a mining environment.
* Strong supervisory experience, with a focus on developing high-performing teams and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
* Commitment to HSEC, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Knowledge of condition monitoring and maintenance planning principles.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with changing priorities.
