Childcare Opportunity
This part-time position offers hands-on experience in the childcare industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a supervisor, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.
The service is located in Mornington, VIC, and the working hours are Monday to Friday, afternoon position only, from 2:40 – 6:00 pm, with a total of 17.5 hours per week.
The Role - Leadership Position
* Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies.
* Assist with creating and implementing engaging experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.
* Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
* Play and have fun with primary school-aged children.
* Support ensuring your program complies with industry regulations.
Requirements
* Prior experience in Before and After School Care or education is not essential, as we can provide training.
* Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still has a childlike spirit.
* Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
* Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
* Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and loves to have fun.
* A relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards.
