Contract Advisor to strengthen our contract governance, compliance and performance frameworks. This is a full‑time remote role, offering the flexibility to work from home while contributing to meaningful outcomes for the community.
About the role
In this key advisory role, you will monitor, manage and provide specialist advice on the organisation's contracts—minimising risk, improving contractor performance and supporting strong decision‑making across the organisation.
What you'll do
Provide technical advice to Project Managers on contract performance, compliance and improvement opportunities.
Develop and maintain contract management procedures and compliance frameworks.
Oversee all insurance and security obligations to ensure full contractual compliance.
Manage the organisation's contract register and coordinate renewals and procurement initiation.
Work closely with Procurement and Legal teams on contractual obligations, variations and enforcement notices.
Ensure adherence to Safety Management Systems and record‑keeping requirements.

What you'll bring
Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, law, or equivalent experience.
Strong experience interpreting and managing contracts in complex environments.
High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and excellent workload management.
Clear, confident communication and strong stakeholder‑engagement capability.
A solid understanding of public sector operations, legislation, procurement processes or contract governance.
Highly Desirable:
Experience working within local or state government procurement or contract management.
