Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Sales Assistant / Project Estimator to support our sales and project teams with pricing, documentation, and client coordination.
About the Role
This is a hands‑on, detail‑focused role supporting tendering, estimating, and sales administration. You’ll work closely with Sales Managers, Project Managers, and Operations to help convert opportunities into successfully delivered projects.
It’s an ideal role for someone who enjoys working with numbers, plans, and people — and who wants to grow into a more senior estimating or sales role over time.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with project estimating and pricing (materials, labour, subcontractors)
* Prepare and issue quotes, tenders, and variations
* Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents
* Liaise with suppliers and internal teams for pricing and availability
* Provide sales and administrative support to the estimating and projects team
* Maintain CRM, quote registers, and project documentation
* Follow up quotes and support client communication
Assist with handover from sales to operations
About You
* Experience in sales support, estimating, or project administration
(construction, fencing, steel, or manufacturing industries highly regarded)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
* Ability to read or interpret drawings (or willingness to learn)
* Confident written and verbal communication skills
* Well‑organised and able to manage multiple priorities
* Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel experience essential)
* A proactive, team‑oriented mindset
