About the role:
This role reports to the CTO of our New Ventures division, which comprises a number of businesses providing products and services to the healthcare community, including Avant Law Commercial, Avant Practice Solutions, Cgov, PracticeHub and Team Medical.
In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the end-to-end delivery of innovative projects and programs - ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget alignment. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, lead agile practices, manage stakeholder relationships, and report on progress to leadership.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire a cross-functional development team in a hands-on capacity
* Drive project delivery using Agile methodologies (Scrum, etc.)
* Coordinate sprint planning, stand-ups, retros, and demos
* Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise initiatives and propose solutions
* Ensure high coding standards, technical scalability, and long-term system sustainability
* Actively mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and purpose-driven culture
* Manage reporting, risk mitigation, and quality assurance processes
* Work closely with the CTO on continuous improvement of systems and processes
Skills and experience required:
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Project Management or a related field
* 5+ years' experience in .Net project management and delivery
* Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership experience
* Solid experience with Agile project management (Scrum, Kanban)
* Proficiency in .NET Core, SOLID principles, and RESTful API development
* Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular or )
* Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms
* Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities
* Adaptability to change and a collaborative mindset
