About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Stapylton Cans Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a rotating shift roster.
* 12-hour shifts, Day - 6am – 6pm and Night - 6pm – 6am.
* Weekends and Public Holidays as part of roster paid at penalty rates.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
* PLC troubleshooting on automated machinery.
* Operating a production line to ensure minimal downtime.
* Set up and fine tuning of machines for optimal productivity.
* Work with high-speed manufacturing equipment, understanding production demands.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
What You'll Bring
* A Grade electrical licence and trade qualification.
* Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in an automated manufacturing environment.
* Willingness to operate a production line and work with production team.
* PLC troubleshooting experience required with programming a bonus.
* Passion for your trade and commitment to improvements.
* A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
