We are seeking an experienced and qualified Spray Painter with
a background in automotive refinishing or body building to join a
well-established business in the heavy vehicle industry in South-West Sydney.

In this role, you'll be
responsible for refinishing and repair work on large vehicles, ensuring all
work is completed to the highest standard. Day-to-day, you will:
* Prepare parts and surfaces for
painting, removing rust, dirt, and old coatings
* Apply primers, undercoats,
metallics, and 2K paints using spray equipment.
* Perform colour matching and paint
mixing to ensure consistency.
* Mask, touch-up, rectify, and
polish paintwork as required.
* Carry out minor panel preparation
and repairs including sanding and dent removal.
* Monitor and maintain paint stock
inventory.
* Always ensure compliance with
workplace health and safety procedures.
About You:
To be successful, you'll bring:
* Certificate III in Automotive
Refinishing Technology (AUR32420) or equivalent.
* Proven experience in spray
painting and body repair, ideally on trucks, buses, or other heavy vehicles.
* Strong knowledge of refinishing
processes, colour matching, and paint application techniques
* The ability to work both
independently and within a team environment.
* A commitment to producing
high-quality work with attention to detail.
* MR license (advantageous but not essential.
