Financial Reporting Specialist
We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to lead our reporting team and drive improvements in financial systems and processes.
This pivotal role requires preparing management accounting reports, collaborating with project managers, and enhancing finance processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Forecasting & Reporting: Collaborate with Project Managers to prepare monthly forecasts and project reporting.
* Management Accounting: Coordinate and maintain Mipac's financial and management accounting systems, including the general ledger.
* Process Improvement: Design, implement, and enhance finance processes and procedures to optimise efficiency and accuracy.
* Audit & Compliance: Support annual and half-yearly audits and reviews, maintaining a strong control environment.
* Systems & Data Integrity: Ensure the integrity of management and project reporting systems.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing financial insights and guidance.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline.
* 5+ years' experience in a senior finance or project accounting role.
* Proven success in improving financial reporting and processes.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
* High proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office.
