NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd is an Australian gold explorer, developer, and producer.
Located southwest of Townsville, the Pajingo mine is around 50km from Charters Towers and currently employs around 250 people to run the underground mining and ore processing operations.
Pajingo Gold Mine are currently seeking an ESO Paramedic on a permanent 8/6 roster either FIFO or DIDO.
Meals and Accommodation provided.
The ESO Paramedic will assist in the coordination and execution of all aspects of mine site emergency response, including the provision of Industrial Medical Services and emergency response team training.
About the role:
Assist in developing, implementing, reviewing and facilitating all aspects of emergency response systems on site.
Ensure all emergency response equipment is in place, always maintained and ready for use.
Assist in the development and delivery of ERT training as directed by HSECT Manager.
Provide first aid and Industrial Medic services as required.
Maintain drug register in accordance with Poisons permit and QLD Health Acts and clinical governance.
Administer S4 & S8 as required by company protocols and relevant Acts and Regulations.
Manage Medical Centre Clinic supplies and ensure critical compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
Assist with health promotion initiatives.
Develop and maintain a working relationship with line managers, to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge, resources, advice, and support to deliver a consistent safety message.
Support the HSECT MANAGER to develop and maintain business relationships with relevant regulatory bodies for reporting on, and governance of, safety and health matters.
About you:
Minimum Qualification Diploma of Paramedicine
AHPRA registration as a Paramedic - without restrictions
Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue (including Underground Component)
HLTPAT005 - Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
Occupational Health & Safety Qualifications or willing to obtain
Cert IV Training & Assessment
Recent experience working in a remote Paramedic/Medic role
Proficient in MS Office and preferably INX platforms to include modules of InControl, and InTuition.
