Senior Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager for a major water treatment project based in Canberra, ACT. This is a 2-year contract, on-site role. The successful candidate will manage the full lifecycle of electrical works within the project, including planning, design, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
Responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining project timelines. This role demands a strong focus on quality assurance, risk management, and alignment with clients' sustainability and energy transition objectives.
Candidates must reside in Canberra or be willing to relocate. About You:
* Proven track record managing projects valued at $30M+ with extensive expertise in Electrical Maintenance and solid understanding of electrical systems, proficiency in Electrical Engineering and Electrical Design principles, and experience in Power Distribution and related systems.
* Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate across diverse teams.
* In-depth knowledge of safety standards, compliance requirements, and energy transition technologies.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex project environments.
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Prior experience in the water treatment or energy construction industry is highly desirable.
* Must reside in Canberra or be willing to relocate (relocation assistance can be provided).
