Seeking a detail-oriented Environmental Services Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
About the Role
This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness in resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas, following infection control and hygiene protocols.
* Laundering operations: sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linen and personal clothing with care and attention to detail.
* Cleaning facilities: ensuring resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas are spotless, hygienic, and inviting.
* Equipment maintenance: ensuring all cleaning and laundry equipment is used safely, maintained properly, and stored securely.
The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and/or laundry services, preferably in aged care, healthcare, or hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in resident areas.
2. Managing laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linen and personal clothing.
3. Cleaning facilities, including resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
4. Maintaining equipment, ensuring it is used safely, maintained properly, and stored securely.
5. Providing occasional support in kitchen/dining areas as required.
Requirements
* Experience in cleaning and/or laundry services, preferably in aged care, healthcare, or hospitality.
* A strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine desire to help others.
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
* A commitment to safety, hygiene, and infection control procedures.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
