Overview
We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the team of a national head contractor and lead delivery of a wide range of construction projects, from $500k fitouts to $50+ million new builds. The initial project will be an 18-month relocation to Tasmania, before returning to Adelaide to continue in a permanent full time position.
You'll Play a Key Role In
* Successfully managing projects from pre-construction to handover and defect liability
* Leading and mentoring project teams
* Ensuring compliance with building specifications, standards, and EHSQ requirements
* Building effective relationships and communication with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
* Handling tender interviews, contract management, and subcontractor negotiations
* Managing the construction programme and project delivery systems
* Financial reporting and identifying profit improvements
What You'll Bring
* Prior experience as a Project Manager with defense experience
* Must be an Australian Citizen to obtain security clearance
* A collaborative, positive approach and team-first mindset
* A strong commitment to safety and risk management
* Ideally you will have worked with Procore, MS Project, programming, contract management, but skills development can be offered.
