Site and Service:

Whyalla Hospital

Whyalla Hospital and Health Services is a large regional hospital comprising of 75 beds including flex beds and a designated High Dependency Unit. The hospital provides a wide range of services, including emergency, medical and surgical, maternity, rehabilitation, mental health, and outpatients. Whyalla Hospital's Cancer Resource Centre is one of the largest in regional South Australia. It includes six chemotherapy chairs, outpatient care and counselling services, reducing the need to travel outside of the region for care. It is also, one of three stroke services in regional SA, providing specialised treatment for suitable stroke patients 24/7, supported by metropolitan stroke units. Our staff work in close partnership with community health services and Aboriginal health providers, to ensure that optimum care is delivered to all areas of the community. About the Role:

As an Enrolled Nurse, you'll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, person-centred care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse/Midwife. Whether you're starting out or building on your experience, this position offers the opportunity to grow from novice to proficient practice, while adhering to regulatory and statutory standards. Working closely with the Registered Nurse/Midwife, you'll take pride in your ability to make independent, accountable decisions, ensuring every patient receives the best possible care. About You:

* Must be enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
* Experience in the provision of nursing care in the healthcare setting in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
