The role of a Compound Coordinator is pivotal to the success of day-to-day operations within the compound.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Ensuring full compliance with customer contracts and service standards through operational process support and system utilization.
* Leading or participating in toolbox talks and operational meetings, addressing issues and driving KPI improvements.
* Analysing performance data to support the Compound Supervisor and Operations Manager in enhancing key metrics such as cost per vehicle, cars per hour, and damage reduction.
* Managing transit damage claims and non-conformance reporting, identifying root causes and implementing resolutions.
* Coordinating weekly stocktake programs to maintain accurate inventory records.
* Assisting with training delivery and staff evaluations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous experience in the Transport and Logistics industry with a solid understanding of operational workflows and service delivery.
* A proactive, safety-first mindset with commitment to OHS&E compliance, team development, and customer satisfaction.
* Excellent communication skills enabling engagement and collaboration with diverse teams across all levels of the organisation.
* Strong geographical knowledge of metropolitan, regional, and rural areas across Australia including major road networks and transport routes.
* Basic-intermediate experience in MS Office applications with ability to learn new systems, software, and technology.
