Salary package: $118,632 - $134,507 per annum plus 17% superannuation

The Position
This role is integral to the delivery and support of the ARC Industrial Transformation Training Centre for Radiation Innovation (RadInnovate). RadInnovate aims to build recent capabilities for nuclear science and radiation by training the next generation of transdisciplinary leaders through the integration of core science, technology, regulation, governance and societal values. RadInnovate is led by ANU in partnership with the University of South Australia and the University of Adelaide, and with 15 industry and government partners on co-designed research projects in the areas underpinning nuclear science, technological innovation, and regulatory and social responsiveness, to equip Australian industries with a future-ready workforce.
This Postdoctoral Research Fellow position will be based in the ANU School of Regulation and Global Governance (RegNet) and will undertake independent research on RadInnovate’s codesigned industry projects, predominantly in the areas of regulation and social licence, and publishing original and innovative results in top-tier refereed journals. The position will co-supervise RadInnovate Higher Degree Research (HDR) students, teach into postgraduate programs in regulation and governance, and act as an interface between the HDR students and ITTC University and industry partners. The Person
We are looking for a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently on high-quality research in collaboration with RadInnovate Chief Investigators. They will have a demonstrated ability as a teacher and a willingness to grow their skills to provided world-class co-supervision of HDR students. Highly developed organisational skills and effective self-management are key. We are looking for someone with a PhD in a law, regulation or a related field with a focus on regulating nuclear materials and technologies or regulating emerging technologies.
