Podiatrist - Senior (High Risk Foot Services), HP4, Allied Health Services, Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals - H2511WB

Are you an experienced Podiatrist with a passion for improving outcomes for people with high-risk foot conditions? Join our dedicated Allied Health team in the beautiful Fraser Coast region and make a meaningful difference every day. As a Senior Podiatrist, you will deliver advanced clinical services within the High Risk Foot Service. You will manage complex caseloads, provide leadership and mentorship to junior clinicians, and contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Your Opportunity:

- Provide outpatient and ambulatory, High Risk Foot Podiatry Services to patients, and support avoidable admissions and community based care.
- Operate as a sole practitioner to coordinate and deliver the Fraser Coast High Risk Foot Clinic utilising high level podiatry services based on current best practice guidelines.
- Collaborate with other podiatry services across Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.

What we're looking for:

- Expertise and skills in clinical Podiatry especially in relation to the treatment of the high risk foot, ambulatory and community based care, wound management.
- Application of evidenced based principles to Podiatry clinical services across the continuum of care with limited clinical practice supervision
- Demonstrated ability to provide podiatry clinical services of a complex nature, where established principles, procedures and methods require expansion, adaptation or modification.
- Competent professional and client communication skills and ability to provide advice regarding the service delivery direction and improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrated commitment and participation in substantial relevant professional development, research and continuous learning to ensure the progression of individual clinical standards.
- Demonstrated high level communication, negotiation and consultative skills, with an ability to work within a multidisciplinary team from medical, nursing and allied health, and a diverse range of stakeholders,
- Demonstrated ability in utilising information technology.
- Demonstrated ability to provide advice to professional and operational leaders regarding service delivery and improvement opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution as a Podiatrist and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
- Further qualifications in the High Risk Foot would be favourable, but not essential.

Our offer: You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $157,360 p.a., comprising salary between $128,169 - $137,918 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
