As an industrial electrician you will work alongside a team of trades on a variety of large and interesting projects. These are ongoing casual roles, with potential opportunity to transition to a permanent role in the future.
Important Information
You will be required to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and be eligible for a Defence Security Clearance. Due to these requirements you must be an Australian Citizen; applications from Permanent Residents or any Visa holders are not accepted.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose, repair, install and program electrical equipment and control systems
* Conduct testing, commissioning and overhaul of repaired equipment
* Interpret drawings, participate in audits and ensure adherence to safety protocols
* Utilise predictive maintenance/condition monitoring techniques for continuous improvement and risk assessment
Essential Experience & Qualifications
* Electrical Trade qualification & A Class Electrical License
* Well‐developed fault‐finding, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
* Industrial electrical experience
* Control system and programming experience
* Must hold Australian Citizenship
Desirable Experience and Licences
* Hazardous Area electrical competency
* HV Operators Licence
* Instrumentation experience
* Dual trade qualification in Electrician / Instrumentation
* High Risk Work Licences including Elevated Work Platform and forklift
