The role of Home Library Coordinator is a dynamic position that requires a proactive and empathetic individual to deliver effective library services.
As a key member of the Home Library Services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the home library program, working with volunteers and supporting community members.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate Home Library Service rounds
* Coordinate Home Library Service volunteers, including volunteers involved in selection of materials, delivery and general home service tasks
* Maintain ongoing records of Home Library Service borrowers and user interest profiles
* Undertake delivery of rounds as required
* Selection of materials for delivery as required
* Respond to requests for special items from Home Library Service borrowers
A key requirement of this role is to be willing to drive the Home Service caddy van to make deliveries.

As a Home Library Coordinator, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with a wide range of people, including community members, volunteers and staff.
You will also have a strong understanding of library services and be able to contribute to the development of effective library programs.
In addition, you will have a flexible and adaptable approach to work, and be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
