About you

You are an experienced Master V with 3 years' experience within a similar role. You hold a Master V (MED II) as well as Senior First Aid and Advanced First Responder. You are a well-developed communicator with great interpersonal and advocacy skills. You are a great multitasker who can priorities tasks and is well organised. You have a high level of computer literacy and has the ability to exercise initiative to work independently and cooperatively.

There are requirements for some weekend and public holiday work, but we cover this with an attractive remuneration package.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Lead and motivate the navigation and engineering team
* Drive training and development for all team members
* Identify and initiate training opportunities and performance
* Management and development of all Master logs and systems
* Promote, assess, and participate in WHS practices
* Aid in management of incident and emergencies
* Contribute to the overall internal audit program
* Coordinate with the workshop in relation the maintenance
* Coordination of refueling and hull scrubbing schedules
