LJ Hooker Manuka is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our dynamic and supportive team in Manuka, ACT. This full-time role will involve the day-to-day management of a diverse portfolio of residential properties, ensuring our landlords and tenants receive exceptional service.
Our departing team member will be available during the handover period to ensure a smooth transition.

What you'll be doing
1. Effectively managing a portfolio of residential rental properties
2. Conducting regular property inspections and providing detailed condition reports
3. Overseeing the leasing process, including advertising, tenant selection and lease negotiations
4. Handling all property maintenance and repair requests in a timely manner
5. Ensuring rent is collected on time and managing any rental arrears
6. Providing outstanding customer service to both landlords and tenants
7. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date property records
8. Staying informed of relevant legislation and compliance requirements
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 2 years' experience in residential property management
2. Strong customer service and communication skills
3. Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
4. Sound understanding of relevant tenancy laws and regulations
5. Working knowledge of ACT-specific tenancy legislation and compliance requirements
6. Proficient in using property management software
7. Experience with PropertyTree property management software
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
9. Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
10. Australian work rights required for this position
