Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and organized professional to join our team as an Administration Officer.
This is a part-time permanent position available on 0.6 FTE, with a competitive package dependent on skills and experience.
The role will provide essential support to the organization as it seeks to provide secure good jobs and equality at work for workers in the media and creative industries.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Assisting with administering the management of offices
2. Arranging staff travel and accommodation, liaison with travel agents
3. Recruitment – placing advertisements, managing correspondence with applicants, coordinating interviews, ensuring smooth transition of new staff upon arrival
4. Arranging business cards for all staff. Ordering campaign related materials
5. Security – issuing keys / access codes for offices
6. Car fleet maintenance – service, repairs, cleaning, registration, petrol cards, and management of car accounts
7. Management of tenants and strata maintenance
8. Management of conference room bookings and access to self-test studios when required
9. Liaising with strata to ensure fire safety maintenance of offices, arranging fire warden training
10. Coordination of WHS issues, including provision of health and safety induction to new staff and coordination of permits
11. Assist in coordination and administration of events, eg, organizing conferences, face to face meetings, preparing papers, taking minutes, liaising with committees
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Advanced organization and administrations skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, database and web-based applications
* Experience with CRM systems desirable, but not essential
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Diary management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Able to juggle priorities

The position offers a competitive package dependent on skills and experience, including 13% employer contribution to superannuation, 5 weeks annual leave each year (pro-rata), 1 RDO every 4 weeks (pro-rata), plus an additional 3 days leave between Christmas and New Year.
