La Petite Souris is a modern French patisserie in Alexandra Headland that makes everything in-house. Popular amongst locals and afar for our wide range of pastries and petite gateau, we are seeking a reliable pastry chef to join their team to help keep up with demand for their quality products.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience as a versatile qualified pastry chef. You will have technical experience in entrements, have a keen eye for detail, consistency and work cleanly. You will be responsible for the building and finishing of our various cakes, pastries and their components. We would highly regard someone that multi-skilled across all patisserie, with experience in handling a dough sheeter, producing laminated pastry products and/or in bread shaping.
As a team player, you will work collaboratively with our kitchen team to maintain mise-en-plus. Naturally you will take pride in your workmanship. There will be the opportunity to express your creativity and contribute in developing new products.
Working full time hours over 5 days between Monday to Saturday. Daytime shifts only, starting at 6 am, so your evenings and Sundays will be free for yourself.

Pay: $35.00 – $42.00 per hour
