Lead Scaffolding Coordinator
We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Scaffolding Coordinator for a maximum term contract role at our site on a 4/3 roster.
The role will be 46 hours a week Monday - Thursday, with days 1–3 scheduled for 12 hour days and day 4 for 10 hours per day.
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Scaffold Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry is required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise a team of scaffolders and ensure safe work practices are followed.
* Coordinate the delivery, installation, modification and dismantling of scaffolding structures.
* Monitor scaffolding equipment and materials, and order supplies as needed.
* Conduct site inspections and identify any safety or compliance issues.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Maintain detailed records and documentation related to scaffolding activities.
* Provide training and guidance to less experienced scaffolders.
Qualifications and Certifications:
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Scaffold Supervisor or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of scaffolding design, construction and safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
* Experience leading and motivating a team of scaffolders.
