About Your Workplace
Reporting to the Head of Controlling, this Senior Financial Analyst role is a key strategic partner within the organisation, providing insightful analysis and performance reporting that supports decision‐making and drives sustainable growth across Miele Australia.
Your Responsibilities
* Act as the primary finance business partner to Marketing and Product divisions, delivering strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
* Provide forward‐looking financial analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and market growth initiatives.
* Develop detailed profitability analysis by customer, channel, and product to support informed commercial decisions.
* Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for Marketing and Product, including preparation and submission of corporate templates.
* Deliver scenario modelling for new product introductions, promotions, and commission structures to optimise returns.
* Oversee month‐end close activities for Marketing and Product, ensuring accuracy and integrity of results.
* Maintain and enhance reporting tools (Cognos, Data Warehouse, Power BI), ensuring data accuracy and delivering meaningful performance dashboards.
What We Are Looking For Must‐have:
* CA or CPA qualification with strong management accounting and financial analysis capability
* Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to translate data into commercial insights
* Strong ERP and business systems experience (SAP, AS400, Cognos or similar)
* Proven ability to partner with stakeholders and influence decision‐making across functions
* Excellent Excel and reporting skills with strong attention to detail and reconciliation capability

* Exposure to Power BI, Business Objects or other data visualisation tools
