We’re partnering with a well-established organisation within the industrial and equipment sector to recruit a National Sales Manager for their Tools & Equipment division. This permanent full‑time position is a key leadership appointment within the business and offers the opportunity to operate as a potential 2IC to the GM Sales & Marketing. Based in Brisbane, the role will lead national sales strategy, commercial performance, operational improvement, and team capability across a high‑performing division. This opportunity is suited to a commercially driven sales leader who thrives in a hands‑on environment and can balance strategic growth with operational leadership, customer engagement, and team development.
About the role
* Leading the national sales strategy across the Tools & Equipment division
* Driving sales performance, accountability, and capability across geographically dispersed teams
* Managing and mentoring sales leadership and customer service functions nationally
* Strengthening operational efficiencies, systems, and process improvement initiatives
* Managing strategic national account relationships and major commercial opportunities
* Remaining commercially hands‑on with customer engagement, negotiations, and deal management
* Supporting growth across industrial, technical, and utilities markets
* Assisting with CRM implementation, reporting improvements, and supplier engagement
* Collaborating closely with executive leadership on broader business objectives and growth plans
What we’re looking for
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior sales management or commercial leadership roles
* Strong experience leading national B2B sales teams within industrial or technical environments
* Exposure to tooling, equipment, power, utilities, industrial products, or related sectors
* Strong commercial acumen with a strategic and operational mindset
* Proven ability driving sales growth, accountability, and performance improvement
* Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building capability
* Hands‑on leadership style with strong communication and influencing skills
* Experience working within fast‑paced, operationally focused businesses
