About The Role

The Exercise Physiologist – Mental Health Drug and Alcohol (MHDA) provides individuals with lived experience of mental illness and/or addiction an opportunity for improved physical health during their inpatient care.

This role collaborates with the Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy team to deliver supportive, safe physical activity and behavioral coaching.

Bloomfield Hospital, part of Orange Health Service, is a major inpatient Mental Health Drug and Alcohol facility in NSW, serving adolescents, adults, and older people. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team including 2 Exercise Physiologists, 1 senior Physiotherapist, and 1 rotating Physiotherapist Level 1/2, working closely with various health disciplines.
