Occupational Therapist Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment. As an OT, you will play a vital role in providing life-changing support to individuals with disabilities and their families.


About the Role

This is a great opportunity to be part of a wider multidisciplinary team who work collaboratively to provide quality services. No two days are ever the same as you might find us in daycare centres, schools, homes, and even on outreach trips to surrounding areas.

Successful candidates will provide supports to cover participants living in various locations.


Key Responsibilities

* Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services
* Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
* Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
* Mentor and nurture early career clinicians
* Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

Qualifications

To be successful, you will have:

* Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
* A passion for working with vulnerable members of your community
* A desire to share your knowledge and inspire junior clinicians
* The ability to work collaboratively with a large multi-disciplinary team
