Position Details
* Part-time (0.6 FTE), maximum term until February 2027
* Additional leave entitlements and the option to purchase leave
Introduction
Join a passionate team providing support to children impacted by sexual abuse. You will review referrals, conduct intake and assessments, determine eligibility, and offer case management and brief intervention counselling to children and families while they await therapeutic services.
Responsibilities
* Review referrals and complete intake and assessments
* Determine service eligibility and support clients on waitlists
* Make referrals to additional support services and conduct risk assessments and safety planning
* Provide brief intervention counselling as needed
* Work collaboratively with a dedicated, client-centred team
Skills and Experience
We are seeking a compassionate professional with:
* A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related fields
* Experience supporting children and adults impacted by sexual abuse
* Strong skills in intake, assessment, and therapeutic counselling with children and families
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation

* Salary: $96,088 per annum (pro-rata) + 11.5% superannuation
