We are on the lookout for an experienced Supply & Demand Planner with FMCG experience to join our team located in Revesby.
The Supply & Demand Planner is responsible for ensuring optimal product availability through effective planning, purchasing, and inventory management across multiple sites.
This role supports the Supply and Demand Manager in executing the mechanical and operational planning processes while collaborating closely with internal teams, warehouses, and external partners.
The planner will maintain high data integrity within planning systems and provide insights to the Commercial Team to drive informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
Planning & Inventory Management
Execute planning activities including ABM planning, monthly replenishment cycles, management of BB (Best-Before) dates, and inventory control across three operational sites.
Assist the Planning Manager with day-to-day mechanical and operational planning processes.
Monitor stock levels proactively to ensure product availability while minimizing overstock and obsolescence.
Maintain accurate and reliable data within the Board planning system.
Procurement & Purchase Order Management
Manage end-to-end purchase order (PO) processes, ensuring timely creation, confirmation, and follow-up with suppliers.
Liaise with freight forwarders to track shipments, coordinate timelines, and ensure smooth inbound logistics.
Warehouse & Logistics Coordination
Work closely with warehouse teams regarding goods receiving, stock discrepancies, and inbound scheduling.
Ensure inventory movements and receipts are aligned with planning requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Sales & Marketing to provide regular updates on product availability, short-dated stock, and slow-moving inventory, enabling appropriate commercial actions.
Coordinate with Commercial Team on New Product Development (NPD) updates, launches, and supply readiness.
