Work within the ELC staff team to provide a high quality, early learning service for the local community, ensuring a safe environment exists for all children to learn & grown in.
Balga Early Learning Centre supports families by providing a high quality early-years service. The Early Learning Centre offers 70+ placements for children 0-12 years, in a both an early years & vacation care setting. The service has a 3-year accreditation and is fully compliant with industry standards for all business delivery. The service operates five days per week. Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 6.00pm
We are currently seeking a values-driven and proactive educator to work within the ELC staff team to provide a high quality, early learning services for the local community, ensuring a safe environment exists for all children to learn & grown in.
We have multiple casual educator positions located in Balga Early Learning Centre
You will successfully
- Maintain at all times supervision of children, ensuring ratios are correct
- Effectively promote and operate to ACECQA national quality standards within the ELC
- Effectively promote and encourage high standards of safety across all aspects of the ELC operations
- To be an active, engaged participant in creating, sustaining and promoting a positive work place team culture
- Provision of educational learning for all children that is based on the Early Years Learning Framework
- Completion of ELC documentation of children's planning, learning & evaluation
- Attend appropriate professional development training and contribute to staff meetings and staff team
You will have
- Understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of The Salvation Army
- Certificate III or higher in children's services
- Compassion and professionalism in all actions and ethics
- Extraordinary service to customers
- Outstanding quality in everything we do
- Growth, development and safety of people
- Current Senior First Aid certificate
- Approved anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training
- Minimum 1yr experience in early years settings
- Valid WA Working with Children Check
- Ability to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in Australia
