Renewable Energy Projects | Executive Search & Recruitment
Advance Careers has partnered with a growing renewable energy investor and asset owner seeking a commercially astute Contract Manager to help deliver a pipeline of utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects across Australia.
This is a client-side role with full lifecycle responsibility—from contract execution through to handover—across EPC, BOP, NSP, Owner’s Engineer, and other key delivery contracts. You’ll play a central part in keeping projects on track, risks controlled, and stakeholders aligned.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end contract administration on major renewable energy infrastructure projects
* Oversee commercial terms, payment certifications, claims, variations, and disputes
* Work closely with internal stakeholders (delivery, finance, legal, engineering) and external contractors
* Track performance against milestones, contractual obligations, and cost forecasts
* Identify risks and proactively resolve issues across split scopes and interface contracts
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years of experience in contract/commercial roles within renewables, infrastructure, or energy
* Strong knowledge of AS4000/AS4902 contracts and bespoke variations
* Experience managing $100M+ contracts across BESS, wind, or solar is ideal
* Strong negotiation, reporting, and stakeholder skills
* Tertiary qualifications in law, quantity surveying, engineering, or construction management
