Your new company 
Our client is based on the northern Gold Coast and, due to company growth, they require an experienced and driven Bookkeeper in a part-time role to join their team and facilitate the day-to-day accounting operations of the business. This position has varied responsibilities across accounts, bookkeeping, and administration and will require a determined individual with the ability to work in a collaborative environment to support management. 
Your new role 
This is a multi-faceted full-time and permanent role ideal for someone keen to develop their skills and further enhance their career opportunities in the Accounting field. You will be an integral member of a highly effective finance team and assist with a range of different accounting and administration tasks as required. Your key responsibilities are, but not limited to: 
Full function accounts receivable / payableCash Flow / Bank ReconciliationBAS preparationP&L; / Balance sheetInvoicingWhat you'll need to succeed 
To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience in a similar role and a high work ethic. You will need to be competent in XERO and have been the sole accounts person for another small to medium business. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate solid technical accounting expertise, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and an eye for detail. You will be motivated and willing to get involved in all parts of the finance and administration process. Additionally, you will have the ability to multitask, excellent time management and be very professional. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Accounting software knowledge would be highly regarded.
