About the Mother Baby Unit Role
The Werribee Mother Baby Unit is a perinatal mental health facility focusing on strengthening parenting capacity by optimising mother-infant attachment relationships.
Our unit treats perinatal mental illnesses and seeks to deliver quality, holistic care to mothers and babies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical, time-management, organisational, and communication skills with the ability to adapt and problem-solve.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver therapeutic support to mothers and babies in a multidisciplinary team setting.
* Provide high-quality client-focused care using a holistic approach.
* Work various shift schedules, including nights.
Requirements
Applicants should possess a Registered Psych Nurse qualification along with relevant clinical experience. Strong interpersonal skills are also essential for effective collaboration within our team.
