**The Company**
This rapidly growing and highly innovative company is currently going through substantial growth throughout their Australian operation. They are looking for a strong Logistics leader to play a pivotal part in their Supply Chain function and act as their liaison between their DCs, 3PL's and freight providers managing the flow of product coming in from their overseas suppliers.
**The Role**
Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Director ANZ, your responsibilities will include but wont be limited to:
- Manage the day-to-day transport planning for a large number of customers.
- Communicate and create effective relationships with 3PL providers to ensure an organised flow of product.
- Use freight providers and comply with their data entry/vendor management expectations.
- Manage the move of product globally from suppliers and factories through multiple means of distribution.
- Plan and manage delivery of export products including documentation, container booking and progress of delivery.
- Monitor and report performance analysis to improve processes and identify cost saving areas.
- Take ownership of contract and procing negotiations.
- Offer general support to the wider Supply Chain team cross functionally.
**Your Background**
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- 4+ Years in a Logistics based position, overlooking 3PL operations.
- Experience in Import/Export process and documentation.
- Experience using ERP such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics, etc
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong MS Excel skills will be needed.
