Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with the preparation of menu items in advance of events to ensure seamless execution.
2. Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain high-quality food standards and timely delivery.
3. Deliver exceptional catering experiences onsite at events, including setup, pack down, customer-facing work environments, adaptable service timing, and clear communication with event managers and other staff members.
4. Enforce company health, safety, and security procedures.
5. Contribute to kitchen efficiency and quality control by implementing effective processes and protocols.
6. Support the growth of our Express Catering division by developing new offerings and sharing innovative ideas.
7. Possess a valid Australian driver's license.
8. Hold a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role in high-end catering, fine dining restaurants, hotels, functions, or events.
9. Have completed food hygiene training and accreditation.
10. Passionately create innovative, visually stunning dishes.
11. Prepare a diverse range of culinary styles and cuisines suited for various event types.
12. Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
13. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude, flexibility, and professionalism.
14. Display exceptional knowledge of current food and catering trends.
15. Exhibit physical stamina and reliability.
16. Present impeccable personal appearance.
