At Fortify Health Care Services, formally known as Queensland Health Academy Care Services, we pride ourselves on improving the lives of our clients through exceptional community care and support. We are now seeking a proactive Roster Clerk to join our busy office team and ensure our rosters run smoothly and efficiently every day.
About the Role
In this fast-paced administrative role, you will be the central point of contact for creating and managing staff rosters across our care programs. You’ll work closely with case managers, care staff, and leadership to ensure that every shift is covered, every client receives the support they need, and operational tasks are completed on time.
This is a perfect role for someone who thrives on coordination, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to make a real difference behind the scenes in a care-focused organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the master roster for all care participants.
- Monitor daily shift changes, swaps, and unavailability requests.
- Assist with onboarding new care staff, buddy shift follow-ups, and documentation.
- Provide administrative support to case managers and the care coordination team.
- Manage internal communications, including emails, WhatsApp updates, and compliance follow-ups.
- Support the preparation of timesheets, reports, and other business needs.
- Ensure data accuracy across internal systems (ShiftCare, Splose, Microsoft Office).
- Be part of an on call roster to provide out of hours roster support
About You
✅ Previous experience in rostering, administration, or scheduling (community care or healthcare desirable).
✅ Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
✅ Confident communicator with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
✅ Tech-savvy and comfortable using cloud-based systems and rostering software.
✅ Holds (or is willing to obtain) an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card.
✅ Current Driver’s License.
