The role
Based at Mackay Service Centre, this is a hands-on role where you will be working as a part of a supportive and a progressive team within a positive working environment and will be responsible for:
* Assisting the team of Mechanical Fitters as required.
* Cleaning of industrial equipment and parts in preparation for inspection and reassembly.
* Spray painting and preparing products for despatch.
* Assist Warehouse staff with receiving of incoming goods and despatch.
* Ensuring the work environment is kept clean and safety is upheld at all times.
About you
* Current Forklift Licence.
* Current Drivers Licence.
* Ability to work effectively as a team player as well as independently.
* High attention to detail.
* A positive attitude to safety.
* Previous Trades Assistant / Industrial Workshop experience highly regarded.
* Experience with overhead cranes and rigging would be an advantage.
