Port Lincoln Hospital is seeking enthusiastic professionals to join our dynamic Pre-admission and Outpatient Services team within the Operating Theatre environment. This is afantastic opportunity to play akey role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred surgical care in asupportive and collaborativesetting.
As aRegistered Nurse in the Pre-admission and Outpatient Services Department within the Operating Theatre, you will play avital role in delivering high-quality nursing care in adynamic surgical environment. Your key responsibilities willinclude:
Providing nursing care in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards, ensuring patient safety and comfortthroughout.
Continuously developing your knowledge and skills, progressing from novice to proficient practice through ongoing professional development andexperience.
Accepting accountability for your own standards of nursing care and for activities delegated to others, ensuring the highest quality of patient care at alltimes.
Provide health promotion and education, to patients/clients or groups and carers to improve the health outcomes ofindividual.
About You
You will be registered or eligible for registration as aNurse or Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold acurrent practicing certificate
You will have effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiationskills
Ability to work effectively within amultidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads, you will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within ahealthcaresetting.
Demonstrated commitment to providing consumer/client and family centredcare.
