Our client is growing national provider of in-home care, nursing and allied health for those living with a disability. They work with people across the lifespan, providing intervention within their rehabilitation and supported accomodation facility as well as within the individuals home, school or community. They are renown in the disability sector for being leaders in providing high quality and innovative services, and they are looking for dedicated clinicians to facilitate their ongoing growth as an organisation.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to take an NDIS/LSA caseload within an adult rehabilitation and supported accomodation facility in North Adelaide.
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team who are passionate about working collaboratively to help people with disabilities achieve their goals. In this role you will support people under the NDIS and LSA schemes, delivering clinical assessments and therapy in the rehabilitation facility, supported accomodation and the local community. As a senior Occupational Therapist you will supervise junior OT's and students and drive the ongoing development of the OT service.
You will be well supported by a highly experienced Occupational Therapist and Allied Health Manager. You will receive supervision and mentoring, as well as in-house and external professional development opportunities to achieve your goals. About You:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
- 4+ years experience in NDIS
- A passion for working with people with a disability
- Drive to provide evidence based practice and continue to develop professionally
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to supervise junior OT's and students
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
- Current driver's license and car
