Our client is a Locally Owned Geelong Stonemasonry Business, they are the preferred supplier of granite, stone and marble bench tops for many builders, architects, developers, cabinet makers and owner builders in our region.
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a Full time Stonemason to join their business to fabricate and install stone bench tops in the factory and/or onsite.
**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Cut, shape, polishing of engineered stone, granite, marble
- Use of handheld tools and machinery
- Responsible for the manufacturing of stone benchtops
- Able to read plans
- General labouring tasks
- Keep a safe and tidy workplace.
**Qualifications and experience**
- Previous experience in stonemasonry
- Ability to produce high quality work.
- Good team and communication skills
- Solid attention to detail is a must.
- Basic maths and numeric skills
- Physically fit and capable
- Punctual, reliable and hardworking
- White Card
- Driver's License
