**Job Title:** SAP System Specialist
About the Role
As a highly skilled SAP system specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the administration, configuration, and maintenance of SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO) modules. You will work closely with senior consultants, engineers, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless system operation.
Your Responsibilities
* SAP Support & Administration: Provide day-to-day support for users across various finance processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, and reporting.
* Configuration Updates & Maintenance: Assist with configuration updates, master data maintenance, and minor enhancements to ensure optimal system performance.
* Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot issues, including transactional errors and month-end queries, to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
* System Operations & Technical Tasks: Maintain user roles, authorisations, and access controls within SAP, as well as support integration points with other modules and external systems.
* Delivery, Reporting & Finance Support: Support finance teams during month end and year end activities, assist with SAP reports, queries, audit requirements, and data validations, and provide clear, professional communication to internal stakeholders and clients.
**Requirements & Qualifications:**
* Essential 1-3 years experience with SAP (support, admin, or configuration)
* Understanding of key finance processes (AP, AR, GL, FA, Costing)
* Experience with FICO master data maintenance and basic configuration
* Knowledge of SAP navigation, roles/authorisations, and troubleshooting
* Strong problem solving, documentation, and communication skills
* Ability to work with finance users and translate issues into technical requirements
