Overview
As a Café and Museum Volunteer you will work in a small team and have the opportunity to do/learn a variety of tasks including customer service, retail skills or food preparation.
Responsibilities
* Café duties: assist in the preparation and service of delightful light lunches and teas, including crafting toasted sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, and preparing teas and coffees.
* Museum duties: help with the sale of souvenirs, handle money and operate the till, and occasionally guide tours for groups of up to 30 people for lunch or morning tea.
* On-the-job training for all duties is provided; our team is welcoming and supportive.
