Job Title: Director of Allied Health Services
Description:
The Director of Allied Health Services will be accountable for the delivery of high-level strategic leadership and managerial knowledge, skills, and experience to drive service improvement and high-value care.
This role will involve leading change management practices and providing strong influential leadership to drive innovation, research, and new models of care reflecting contemporary practice in Allied Health.
The Director will participate in an Executive on-call roster and contribute to driving innovation, research, and new models of care that reflect contemporary practice in Allied Health.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership and direction for Allied Health services at Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals.
* Lead change management practices to drive innovation, research, and new models of care.
* Contribute to the development of business cases for future service expansion and modernization.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective service delivery.
* Maintain a safe working environment through adherence to quality and risk management principles.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g., Master's degree) in a field related to Allied Health or a related discipline.
* Substantial experience in a senior leadership role within healthcare or a related industry.
* Demonstrated expertise in change management, strategic planning, and policy development.
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, patients, and other stakeholders.
