We are currently looking for an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager - ANUM to join the Urology/Vascular ward in a full-time capacity. As an ANUM – your responsibilities will include: Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes. Provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based. Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives Undertaking direct patient care, as required Mentoring of staff About the Company This hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in Victoria, caring for over 1.2 million people across Melbourne’s east and outer east. About You Current Registration with AHPRA Working with Childrens check Current or previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience (desirable) Sound clinical knowledge 3 years of clinical/surgical experience Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills Positive role modelling behaviours Ability to work across a rotating roster of AM/PM/ND shifts Excellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisation
