Our commercial construction company is seeking a skilled professional to oversee the management of small to medium-sized projects.
This position involves working closely with an experienced leadership and delivery team to ensure the successful completion of commercial construction projects.
The Role
* Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering commercial construction projects from early works through to completion.
* Manage project documentation, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
* Support head contract and subcontract administration including scope packages, variations, and cost tracking.
* Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and compliance across all project stages.
* Conduct site visits, attend project meetings, and liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and clients.
* Prepare progress reports, program updates, risk registers, and project forecasting.
* Collaborate with senior management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standard.
About You
* A strong background in commercial construction, such as Contract Administrator, Site Engineer, or Project Coordinator.
* Experience working on projects in the $500k to $10m range is highly desirable.
* Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Confident communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.
* A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and drive to progress towards becoming a fully autonomous Project Manager.
