**About your Role**
From take-off to landing, Thales offers the most complete range of solutions to provide energetic air traffic control to support today's growing domestic and international travel requirements. Utilising this knowledge and experience Thales Australia will deliver a harmonised Civil/Military Air Traffic Management System (CMATS) known as OneSKY, in Australia to Airservices Australia and Defence. This will enable a new level of safety and efficiency, while also reducing delays for the travelling public and providing opportunities to improve environmental outcomes. OneSKY will transform Australia's sky and we are proud to be partners in its delivery.
As a OneSKY Technical Instructor, you will work in this 2-year fixed term contract within the technical training team, providing specialist technical training analysis, course development and training delivery for the OneSKY Program.
**Key responsibilities in this role are**:
- Conducting assessments on future required training (i.e. Training Needs Analysis)
- Developing curriculum and training materials to satisfy the outcome of these assessments
- Delivering technical training
- Providing technical training advice to the OneSKY program
- Working to budget, quality and schedule requirements
**How about You?**
You are:
- Qualified in a relevant field (e.g.Trade Certificate, Certificate IV or Diploma in Information Technology, Diploma of Electronics or other relevant network support technician qualification)
- Qualified in workplace training and assessment (TAE40116 or similar or higher)
- Experienced in delivering training and working as part of a team in complex, technology-based projects
- Experienced in Network support or IT security or Network configuration management and troubleshooting or deploying virtual machines
- Experienced in providing on-going software and hardware maintenance including inspection, servicing and repair
- Experienced or knowledge of working within the Unix/Linux Operating System environment
- Highly autonomous and resourceful with a positive work ethic
- This role may involve some domestic travel.
